What is this item worth?
It’s difficult to estimate the value of a collectible from a photo. It requires close scrutiny. Get bids from a few local dealers. If you have something of value, I can help you find the most interested national collector, who will pay you top dollar.
Why can’t I just sell to my local dealer?
You can. But they are likely to underestimate it’s value when they buy from you, so that they can maximize their profits when they sell. Also they may not be as interested in your collection as other specialized collectors. My service is to find which national dealers will pay the most for your specialized items. You can be sure that I will find the best price for your collectibles, because my commission depends on it. It requires an effort and expertise that not all dealers have.
How should I protect my collection?
If your collectibles are exposed to humidity and are not in protective envelopes, they are probably loosing value. For stamps, a humidity controlled environment and good quality display envelopes are essential. For coins, you need containers to protect them from scratches. These items are available inexpensively online or from a local Stamp and Coin Shop.
When can I get an estimate from you?
It’s time consuming to evaluate collections and find just the right buyer. It's like looking for a golden needle in a haystack. If you have something that your local dealers think is valuable, contact me, and I will connect you to the best dealers in the nation who want what you own.
